Hoping to have a Merry Little Christmas

Family will start arriving tonight, with Michael arriving by train, followed by Mom arriving by plane!  Then one more work day... or at least part of a day and then  Scott and Michelle will arrive tomorrow night by car!!  If only someone was coming by boat, lol!

So excited to have my boys home for the holiday!  I've got a great Christmas Eve Dinner planned.  But I mostly just can't wait for some time together.

Greg's family will be over on Christmas afternoon, so more eating and visiting will be done on Christmas as well.

I am off from work after Weds until Jan 4, and that feels really good.  I will enjoy time with family, and once they leave I will get started on Pammy's baby set (Drapery panels, crib bumpers and crib skirt set).  And hopefully a few other projects too.

This year's fun has been making mermaid tail and shark tail lounge sacks for the kids, so cute!!  These patterns are from Plucky Butterfly:

A stocking for Alice (using a free stocking pattern from Funktional Threads):

And colored pencil rolls for the ladies ( a free tutorial I found) :

I also made a couple of Japanese Knot bags (another free tutorial).... but didn't get any pictures I guess.

Restarting the blog
